Comic Book Sales - Great Sales on The Walking Dead and Calvin and Hobbes

Hello graphic novels fans, hope you're enjoying the sunny weekend. That depends on where in the world you are, I guess, but I'm in the UK and for once we're getting a full weekend of hot, yellow sun. I spent yesterday relaxing in the park, and I took with me a couple of graphic novels to pass the time (A Curious Man and Screaming Planet, in case you were wondering).

If you plan on loading up and going to the beach next weekend, or if you're just going down to the park to lie in the sun and you need something to read, then here are the latest deals on Amazon.

The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman
The first two compendiums of the Walking Dead are on sale on Amazon, so if you've been waiting to try this graphic novel then now is a good time. You can pick up the first comic compendium for $36.79 and the second for $37.78, saving you $24 on each book.

Darth Vader and Son, Vader's Little Princess
If you're a massive Star Wars fan or if you have a kid and want to buy them a comic the Jeffrey Browns Vader series is a good buy. It's really funny and it's full of little in-jokes that you'll love if you've seen the movies. Although it works for kids it isn't just a children's book. Both books are half-price now.

A Curious Man
Neal Thompson's graphic novel about the life of 'Believe it or Not' founder Robert Ripley is damn interesting look at a man who was obsessed with the weird and the interesting, and you'll find it a good read if you've ever been to one of the Ripley's Believe it or Not museums. He was a strange man and a lot of Thompson's comic will surprise you. Check it out now while it's 35% cheaper.
